Let me introduce myself

My name is Barbara Schurer, a passionate woman how enjoys connecting people.

I see my clients as I see myself: a member of the human race. Yes, I as well had and have different layers of protection around my essence. Very wise protection from a storm from rain or intense heat. And one day it felt that my protection/ego was a fur coat on a warm breezy spring day. Not suitable, not appropriate, it felt unnatural. I felt my protection/ego was holding me down. That was the moment to re-connect. Re-connect to the true me, my essence. With respect, gratitude and love I let go of all the coats I had put on throughout my life. Grateful as they helped me to come this far. Now I am moving on. What is left is my essence, my true self. As such I act more effectively. This results in using less energy and accomplish greater goals. That is what I wish for you.

After years of being employed in financial services I decided to persuade my passion: Re-connecting people. In my interim carrier time and time again I saw people in all layers of organisations who were not connected. Reasons often very personal and most of the time very disconnected from the company's mission. By not addressing these personal reasons people were not able to disconnect from them or to overcome them, resulting in low adjustability. Even when suggested change(s) or developments were not to the dislike or not seen as unnecessary. Because I looked at personal drive and addressed personal aspects people felt seen. Seen and acknowledged. With this acknowledgement came motivation and re-connection. Therefore changes and adaptations were often easy. Within this re-connection I felt such strength that I have had further education and started my own company: Barbara Schurer Coaching.
